MINIĆ: UNITED WE PRESERVE OUR NATIONAL IDENTITY
BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 23 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Prime Minister Savo Minić opened the Days of Srpska in Serbia event in Belgrade this evening, highlighting the importance of unity, as only in this way can the national identity be preserved.
“United, we preserve our national identity, and in assembly, our faith, which helps us walk the right path, for all those who fought for these flags were just like that,” Minić said in his address at the National Theatre in Belgrade. He says that, regardless of the everyday cooperation, it is very important to organize an event like this, and praised the Representative Office of Republika Srpska in Serbia for its efforts. He pointed out that the past days have demonstrated the unity of Republika Srpska and Serbia, but also stressed that one must not forget 1992, when the corridor was secured, and that today the presidents of Serbia and Srpska share an excellent idea to connect it with a highway. “Thank you to Serbia, to President Aleksandar Vučić, and to the people of Serbia for recognizing the importance of such a project,” said Minić. He reminded that there is no local community in Republika Srpska, even in the Federation, where the Serbian people form a majority, that does not have a facility built by Serbia. “There is no boundary we cannot overcome,” Minić emphasized. He said that what is happening in the state union of BiH is unprecedented in modern history, a unique form of protectorate. “We are not concerned with condemnation. These flags, our faith, culture, tradition, brotherhood, everything we have, our ties, there is nothing that can divide us,” Minić emphasized.
