MAZALICA: EU MUST CHOOSE BETWEEN DEMOCRATIC INSTITUTIONS OF SRPSKA AND DISTORTED 'BONN POWERS'

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 24 /SRNA/ – If the EU wants Republika Srpska inside, then the EU will have to choose between the democratic institutions of Srpska and the distorted so-called Bonn powers, said the head of the SNSD Club in the National Assembly of Srpska Srđan Mazalica.

Mazalica told SRNA that he believes this is not a difficult choice if they truly are friends of BiH, as they claim. Commenting on the statement of European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos that Republika Srpska is needed for BiH's European integration, Mazalica emphasized that Republika Srpska also knows there can be no European integration without its contribution, but that the EU’s treatment of Republika Srpska is catastrophic. "They do not support the rule of law but rather the dictate of an unelected foreigner who has usurped the role of parliament. As a deputy in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, elected by the people, I absolutely reject such a practice," Mazalica stressed.
