DODIK: KARAN'S VICTORY IS IMPORTANT FOR STABILITY
BANJA LUKA, November 23 /SRNA/ - SNSD leader Milorad Dodik stated this evening in Banja Luka that the victory of Siniša Karan is highly important for the stability of Republika Srpska.
"The election result means complete stabilization of Republika Srpska, and the government has the support of the people," Dodik said at a press conference. He stressed that SNSD conducted a very fair and correct election campaign. "SDS member Darko Babalj is inciting people to take to the streets. This could carry criminal responsibility, and everything should be left to the competent authorities," Dodik added. He reiterated that the Central Election Commission of BiH /CIK/ is illegitimate, noting that it "brazenly stated that SNSD has four delegates in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament". "They stole our mandate and did everything to destabilize the situation in Srpska. The fabricated process against me was taken to the extreme. This is a leftover of the Biden administration and partly the Brussels bureaucracy," Dodik said. He added that this approach was embraced by "the Muslims, some judges and prosecutors, and the anti-Dayton Court of BiH". "They expected that Srpska would fall into destabilization. The people who voted for Karan voted for the freedom of Srpska. Had it been otherwise, Srpska would have entered a crisis. That is why I tell Babalj not to provoke unrest, because a liar like him cannot produce anything other than street disorder," Dodik stated. He underlined that SNSD had strong organization on the ground. "I thank our coalition partners. There is nothing improper in this election process. We bear responsibility toward the majority that elected us, and therefore we will not tolerate what Babalj is calling for. Karan won honorably and fairly. I would also like to thank our municipal committees, including Doboj where the margin was over 9,000 votes, as well as in Laktaši, Zvornik, Srbac…," Dodik emphasized.
