BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 26 /SRNA/ – BiH's Ambassador to Serbia Aleksandar Vranješ has told SRNA that during today's meeting between the Republika Srpska delegation and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, it was reaffirmed that Hungary remains strongly behind Srpska and views the sovereigntist politics of Milorad Dodik as the best approach to protecting Republika Srpska.

"Hungary clearly shows that it is a great friend of Republika Srpska. Throughout all these turbulent times, they have stood firmly by us, and this was confirmed again today at these meetings," Vranješ said. According to him, Hungary advocates for the defense of the Dayton Constitution, as well as for Dodik's sovereigntist politics. "They believe this is the best politics to protect Republika Srpska, and they have never hidden their views. We see that they have remained steadfast in these positions, and we heard it again today in Budapest," Vranješ stressed. The Acting President of Republika Srpska, Ana Trišić-Babić, met today in Budapest with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. The Republika Srpska delegation also included the Minister for Scientific and Technological Development and Higher Education Siniša Karan, SNSD leader Milorad Dodik, and BiH's Ambassador to Hungary Biljana Gutić-Bjelica.
