GREAT INTEREST IN SRPSKA’S TOURISM OFFER AT VIENNA FAIR

BANJA LUKA, JANUARY 18 /SRNA/ – Visitors of the International Tourism Fair in Vienna have shown great interest in the tourism offer of Republika Srpska, which was presented at this event, the spokesperson of the Srpska Tourism Organisation, Sanela Šimun, told SRNA.

She mentioned that the complete tourism offer of Republika Srpska was showcased at the fair, including the tourist organisations of Istočno Sarajevo, Banja Luka, and Bijeljina, as well as spa centres such as the Vrućica spa in Teslić and the Ozren thermal spa. "Promotion materials of other spa centres, such as Viline Vlasi in Višegrad, Dvorovi in Bijeljina, Kulaši, Slatina, Mlječanic', and the Banja Luka thermal spa were also presented," Šimun said. She emphasized that tourists from Austria are showing significant interest in Republika Srpska, evidenced by the fact that the number of tourist arrivals from Austria last year was 12% higher than in 2024. "During the New Year's holidays, a large number of Austrian tourists visited Banja Luka, as well as other parts of Srpska. We hope that in the near future, the number of visits from Austria will continue to grow," Šimun added. The International Tourism Fair in Vienna, which opened on January 15, will end today. The presentation of the tourism offer of Republika Srpska was carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade and Tourism and the Representative Office of Republika Srpska in Vienna.
