GREAT HONOR TO RECEIVE THE SRETENJE ORDER
BELGRADE, FEBRUARY 16 /SRNA/ - The Minister of Justice of Republika Srpska Goran Selak told SRNA that it is a great honor for him to receive the Sretenje Order, First Class, emphasizing that it is also a message to the authorities of Republika Srpska that they are properly safeguarding national interests.
Selak says it was a great honor to have had the opportunity in Belgrade to receive the decoration from the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić. "This is an expression of gratitude and a message to all of us in Republika Srpska who hold public office and perform public duties that we are on the right path, that we are taking care of Serbian national interests, but also an obligation to be even more dedicated to strengthening the institutions of Republika Srpska and connecting the institutions of Republika Srpska with those of Serbia," Selak said in Belgrade. He assessed that the cooperation between the Ministries of Justice of Serbia and Republika Srpska has so far been exceptionally good. "The Ministries of Justice of Republika Srpska and Serbia had already been cooperating intensively even before my mandate. I continued where my predecessors left off. In accordance with the Agreement on Special Parallel Relations and the Declaration of the All-Serb Assembly, Republika Srpska maintains cooperation with Serbia at the level of all institutions," Selak said. He recalled that Republika Srpska and Serbia have been jointly celebrating Statehood Day - Sretenje - for the second year in a row, and that Serbia and Republika Srpska signed the Declaration of the All-Serb Assembly, committing themselves to always stand together. "We have already marked Sretenje in Banja Luka, Kragujevac, and Orašac, and today we are here in Belgrade, a gathering place of all Serbs," Selak said.
