LJILJANA ZELEN-KARADŽIĆ HAS PASSED AWAY
PALE, FEBRUARY 18 /SRNA/ - Ljiljana Zelen-Karadžić, the wife of the first President of Republika Srpska Radovan Karadžić, passed away today in Istočno Sarajevo at the age of 80, it was confirmed to SRNA at the Srbija Hospital.
Zelen-Karadžić was a neuropsychiatrist by profession and served as President of the Red Cross of Republika Srpska from 1993 to 2002. Ljiljana Zelen-Karadžić was born in 1945 in Sarajevo, where she also graduated from the Faculty of Medicine. The place and date of the funeral will be announced at a later time.
