SELAK: SRPSKA COMMITTED TO STRENGTHENING LEGAL CERTAINTY
BANJA LUKA, FEBRUARY 23 /SRNA/ - The fight against corruption is one of the key priorities in the work of the Ministry of Justice of Republika Srpska, said Minister Goran Selak.
In a meeting today in Banja Luka with Rick Holtzapple, Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH, Selak said that Republika Srpska is firmly committed to strengthening legal certainty and institutional accountability, and that the rule of law is the foundation of stability and citizens’ trust in institutions. "The fight against corruption must be systemic, consistent, and based on clear legal frameworks," Selak said. The meeting also addressed cooperation between the Ministry and the OSCE Mission to BiH, as well as activities related to enhancing anti-corruption mechanisms and reform processes in the justice sector. The participants stressed the need for ongoing communication and professional collaboration to enhance the judicial system and bolster institutional capabilities. The meeting was also attended by Christophe Fortier-Guay, Head of the OSCE Field Office in Banja Luka.
