EMERGENCY MEASURES INTRODUCED IN 20 LOCAL COMMUNITIES

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 30 /SRNA/ – A state of emergency has been declared in 20 local communities in Banja Luka most affected by heavy snowfall, the Emergency Situations Headquarters decided.

The state of emergency was declared in the local communities of Stričići, Pavići, Donja Kola, Kola, Bočac, Agino Selo, Ljubačevo, Krmine, Krupa na Vrbasu, Rekavice I and II, Karanovac, Starčevica, Debeljaci, Priječani, Stratinska, Bronzani Majdan, Kmećani, Goleši and Česma, the Banja Luka City Administration has stated. At today's session, the Headquarters concluded that a professional-operational team should be formed to address challenges caused by the natural disaster. The team is authorized to review and propose, on behalf of the Headquarters, an order on the mobilization and deployment of forces and resources for protection and rescue in the Banja Luka area.
