GRAFFITI ON SERBIAN-OWNED SHOPS CLASSIFIED AS INCITING NATIONAL AND RELIGIOUS HATRED
SARAJEVO, MAY 15 /SRNA/ – Writing graffiti on premises of companies from Serbia in Sarajevo downtown has been classified as the criminal offence of inciting national, racial, and religious hatred, division, or intolerance, Mersiha Novalić told SRNA.
She stated that officers of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior carried out an investigation and that the prosecutor has been informed. Novalić added that the police continue working on documenting and clarifying the criminal act. Graffiti and red paint were found on the premises of companies from Serbia operating in Sarajevo, marking each of the shops owned by these companies in the city.
