BANJA LUKA, JUNE 1 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska continues to modernize school equipment and create better conditions for learning, teaching, and the acquisition of knowledge by new generations, Republika Srpska President Siniša Karan said.

BANJA LUKA, JUNE 1 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska continues to modernize school equipment and create better conditions for learning, teaching, and the acquisition of knowledge by new generations, Republika Srpska President Siniša Karan said.

"Banja Luka, as the largest city of Republika Srpska and its administrative, educational, and cultural center, continues to receive support through investments aimed at improving educational conditions," Karan wrote on X, alongside a video showing the donation of IT equipment to the Aleksa Šantić Primary School in Banja Luka as part of the project "Better Schools for a Better Future". The school's principal Svjetlana Radusin emphasized that the new equipment would significantly improve teaching and modernize the educational process. "The support of the President of Republika Srpska is very important to us", Radusin said. The school's IT teacher, Tatjana Medarević, noted that students would now be able to focus more on the lesson content, as the new equipment package also includes a projector. Bogoljub Zeljković, a member of the Banja Luka City Assembly, said the donation would provide children with new opportunities and knowledge that will be important for their future. "Every child in Republika Srpska deserves equal opportunities - modern education and the chance for a better tomorrow. Politics only has meaning when it leaves something good behind for people. And it is at its best when it leaves something good for children. The future of Republika Srpska is the family, and its strength lies in the knowledge of children sitting in school classrooms", Zeljković said. Student Tamara Đukić said that having visual presentations during lessons is important, and that the projector will help with that, while student Maja Grbić expressed her excitement about being able to work with new software programs.
