DODIK: NOT EVEN A HUNDRED CORRUPT AUTO-CHAUVINISTS WILL CHANGE TIES BETWEEN SERBIA AND SRPSKA
BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 1 /SRNA/ - President Milorad Dodik said that Serbia and Srpska would preserve their ties and that not even a hundred corrupt auto-chauvinists, let alone Sonja Biserko, would change that.
"A life spent in hatred is a sad life, especially hatred towards your own country. Sonja Biserko even measures changes in Serbia by her hope that they will weaken ties between Belgrade and Banja Luka. As if Serbia can make progress only by turning its back on Republika Srpska," Dodik wrote on X. According to him, in this distorted vision, closeness to fellow Serbs is a fault, while renouncing one's own people and everything Serbian is seen as proof of democracy. "Pathetic, even by her standards. She says Serbia brought Serbs in Republika Srpska and Montenegro together. Who else was it supposed to bring together? Eskimos, Native Americans, Arabs, Muslims...?" Dodik asked. He also asked what would come next if Serbia, where 85 percent of the population are Serbs and Orthodox Christians, were to renounce Serbs living beyond its borders. "To renounce the Serbs living within its borders just to make Biserko happy! Sonja may wish for whatever she likes, but this particular dream of hers will not come true," Dodik said. He pointed out that Serbia and Srpska are bound by their people, families, history and culture. "These ties were not created by any one government, and they will not be severed by the perverse wishes of someone who has made a living for more than 30 years out of hatred for everything Serbian and who testifies against the country she lives in at The Hague," Dodik wrote. He added that the suggestion that young people in Serbia need a "guide" to find the right information best illustrates where Sonja Biserko's trust in the new generation ends. "It seems they are mature enough to change the government, but still need her guardianship to reach their own conclusions," Dodik pointed out. Dodik stressed that Biserko failed to understand that they had fought for a change of government, not for a change of national identity or national history. "She supports them as long as she sees in them an opportunity to achieve her sick objectives, and then she wants to dictate what they should read and how they should interpret what they have read," Dodik said. According to him, that "guidebook" will certainly include recommendations to forget Jasenovac, Stara Gradina, Banjica, Staro Sajmište, Prebilovci, Kragujevac, Brod na Drini, Kosovo and Metohija, Bratunac and Kravica... but it will offer nothing for them to remember. "Are we supposed to tear down all our monuments, plow over all our cemeteries, forget all our victims and black mourning scarves just so Biserko can justify every euro she receives?" Dodik asked. He added that, after all, someone who is paid to think a certain way has no credibility to dictate what anyone else should think. "And how detached from reality must you be to expect anyone to take such views seriously?" Dodik asked. He noted that Biserko also offers the media instructions on how they should behave. "It seems they don't listen to her either, which is why she delivers her lectures through those in Sarajevo. She longs for a 'second option' in Republika Srpska, yet the woman who offers to mentor young people in Serbia does not even know that the people here elected their representatives less than a month ago and once again placed their greatest trust in SNSD. So much for her awareness of the facts and her ability to lecture anyone," Dodik pointed out. He said that Sonja Biserko could wait for a Serbia that would turn its back on Republika Srpska. "But the expectations of a hater and auto-chauvinist are not an obligation for our people. Serbia and Srpska will preserve their ties, and not even a hundred corrupt auto-chauvinists, let alone one Biserko, will change that," Dodik stressed.
