DODIK: ONLY PEOPLE WHO INVEST IN EDUCATION HAVE A SECURE FUTURE

LAKTAŠI, AUGUST 29 /SRNA/ – The President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik emphasized today in Laktaši that only people who invest in education can count on a secure future.

At the ceremony marking the opening of the Secondary School Center in Laktaši, Dodik underlined that this is a significant project not only for this local community but for Republika Srpska as a whole, adding that he is proud to have been part of this endeavor. “Laktaši have long been waiting for a Secondary School Center, and this is not an ordinary educational institution, because the students who will attend this school will at the same time be a link with the economy,” Dodik said. He stressed that Republika Srpska has done a lot to reduce unemployment, but that much work still lies ahead, and that such projects are a source of pride for everyone. Dodik congratulated all students on the beginning of the new school year and wished that children would further educate and upbring in the spirit of community, faith, and tradition. A total of BAM 10.5 million was invested in the construction of the Secondary School Center in Laktaši, of which BAM six million was provided by the Government of Republika Srpska and the remainder by the local community. The Secondary School Center was formally opened today by the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, the Mayor of Laktaši Miroslav Bojić, the Minister of Education and Culture of Republika Srpska Željka Stojičić, and the director of the institution Danijela Stanišljević Ivanović.
