THERE IS NO EUROPEAN PATH WITHOUT SRPSKA'S CONSENT

SARAJEVO, SEPTEMBER 25 /SRNA/ - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Staša Košarac, said that there can be no European path for BiH without the consent of Republika Srpska, and that Republika Srpska’s institutions must be visible in the decision-making process at the BiH level regarding all matters, including European ones.

“Our policy is crystal clear. If this does not suit someone in the Federation of BiH, that is not our problem. The fact is that Sarajevo cannot make any decisions without Banja Luka’s consent,” said Košarac, who is also the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations in the Council of Ministers. He emphasized that once the Government of Republika Srpska gives its consent, the Council of Ministers can make decisions on the reform agenda and all other matters. “To those coming from the EU, such as /Enlargement Commissioner/ Marta Kos, who attempted to downplay the role of Republika Srpska’s institutions, this is a very clear message: there can be no decision-making at the level of BiH without Republika Srpska’s position,” Košarac said. Košarac said that they should remember this once and for all. “Republika Srpska has a say, and the BiH level should wait for Republika Srpska’s decision,” Košarac wrote on his official X profile.
