CVIJANOVIĆ: POLICY LED AND TO BE LED BY DODIK IS THE ONE THAT LISTENS TO INTERESTS OF CITIZENS

BANJA LUKA, OCTOBER 22 /SRNA/ - SNSD Vice President Željka Cvijanović stated that responsibility towards Republika Srpska and its citizens entails making difficult and unpopular decisions, and that President Milorad Dodik's policy is solely focused on working in the interest of the citizens.

Cvijanović said that in such moments, personal political gain or loss is not considered; the focus is entirely on what is best for Republika Srpska. "I sincerely appreciate every patriotic stance and understand the well-intentioned criticism and concerns of some of our citizens regarding the recent decisions of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska," Cvijanović wrote on X, adding that she opened the account not only to communicate but also to better listen to the voice of the people. Cvijanović emphasized that the essence of statesmanlike politics, led by President Dodik and to be led by him in the future, is listening to the interests of the citizens. "If we did not have a clear plan and were not confident in its correctness, we would not have taken these steps. We have consciously exposed ourselves to public criticism, convinced that the public will soon recognize the positive effects of our decisions," Cvijanović stated. She emphasized that it is crucial to recognize this not as a capitulation, but as a pathway to a stronger and better positioning of Republika Srpska, which will ensure its long-term security and protection. "We will go to every part of Republika Srpska to explain this to our citizens, starting today in Bijeljina at 18:00 in the City Cinema Hall. Long live Republika Srpska!" Cvijanović said.
